“If you take the time to listen to your own creative pulse, one does not need to look too far to find inspiration.”

As an artist living and working between the cores of the most stimulating metropolis’ such as London, Milan and New York, it is no wonder that Central Saint Martin’s graduate Anna Laurini’s vibrant expressionist style is empowered by such worldwide travel and experience.

Anna’s work is inspired by the abstract expressionism movements of New York in the 1950s, further developing a unique style throughout the years of square portraits, using a mix of acrylic paint and collage with sleek brush strokes and bold lines, usually accompanied by thoughtful lines or quotes. Her choice of colours and shapes expresses the positive and charismatic nature of her work.

Her work has been sold around the world, including commissioned work in NYC. Anna also takes to the streets by painting subtle variations of her notorious faces in the streets of East London, New York and Paris, and now Clerkenwell London are proud to play host to some of Anna Laurini’s latest pieces.

Take a look at Anna’s gallery launch celebrations with live music by Arianna Miolo and Fabio, canapés and a demonstration from Damian Wawrzyniak, and Amaro cocktails provided by Asterley Bros.
